Matt 7:24-25 NASB Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and {yet} it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.

In our study of 1 Peter we are examining some important principles of Christian living especially in the face of difficulties of life. We are learning that our salvation comes with special privileges. These eternal privileges provide us with the motivation to stand any difficult life situations which are only but temporal. Because of our special position in Christ we have special duties and mission regarding our personal character, relationship with our families, with civil government, and with the community at large. The goal of our study is to surrender to God to establish us in faith and obedience transforming us into Christ like character for His glory.
