Growing in Grace Adult Bible Fellowship
I & II Corinthians
It is our objective in this course to present answers to the real questions that are being asked by the church. To give opportunity to discuss or express things that have too long been considered taboo. In his classical work "Letters to a Troubled Church" Ray C. Stedman presents many challenges to us all.
Topics we will look at are:
- How can I live a Christ honoring life in a depraved and post-Christian culture?
- How do we answer atheists and agnostics who say Christianity is a myth?
- What happens to us after we die?
- What does God have to say about marriage?
- What does God say about divorcé?
- What encouragement does God offer single people?
- Is it always wrong to go to court to resolve a dispute?
- What is Christlike love? How is different than wordly love?
- What about moral grey areas, Christian freedom?
- How should we resolve disputes in the church?
- What about scandals, sin? What is the role of women?
- What about tongues? Gifts? Giving?
These things will take time. The Holy Spirit is in no hurry, and won't be either. Bring your question with you.
