Kidz Connection

“We exist to help connect children and their families to Christ by teaching and worshiping together, in order to equip them while growing in grace.”

Holding to the belief that the primary responsibility of parents is to raise children with a healthy knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, Kidz Connection is geared to further teach fundamental Biblical truths through a wide variety of innovative methods.

It is our goal to provide a Christ-centered, fun, safe, respectful and life-changing environment for every child.

The basis for our belief is Matthew 19:14 where Jesus said, “Let the little children come unto me and do not hinder them for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

This ministry consists of:
1. Nursery (Sunday, 9:30am-12noon) – ages: newborn – 3 years. Utilizing age-appropriate books, music and manipulative toys.

2. Sunday School (Sunday, 9:30am-10:30am) – ages: 2 years – 6th grade. Utilizing Faithweaver curriculum teaching the greatness of God.

3. Children’s church (Sunday, 11:15am-12noon) – ages: 2 years – 6th grade. We strive to make this children's ministry the very best hour of the week—a place where the life-changing truth of Scripture becomes lifelong reality for every child who walks through our door.

4. Children’s choir (Sunday practice – during Children’s church) – ages: 4 years – 3rd grade. This weekly practice eventually culminates into 3 events per year allowing the children to share their worship in song.

5. Awana (Wednesday, 6:45pm-8:30pm) – ages: pre-school – 6th grade. This Bible- centered youth ministry is designed to allow children to have FUN while training and teaching them to apply scriptural truths that last a lifetime. 6. Bible Camp (1 week in June – 9:00am-3:00pm) – ages: 5 years – 6th grade. This week long experience allows for many children to come together and enjoy wonderful social interaction while learning Biblical principles. Bible stories, crafts, skits, indoor and outdoor activities as well as a swimming outing help enrich this highly anticipated, Christ-centered endeavor.
