Cubbies is the AWANA Club preschoolers during the two years prior to regular kindergarten, usually three- and four- year- olds. Cubbies is unique because it supports and maintains parents as the primary source of spiritual nurturing by directly involving them in the teaching and learning process. Cubbies uses the fundamental AWANA elements of games and activities, Bible memorization, handbooks, and awards.

Sparks is the Awana Club for kindergartners, first-graders, and second-graders. Each club meeting has three parts. In Game Time, Sparkies enjoy entertaining games played on the Awana Game Circle. During Green Meadow Time, Sparkies gather for their age-appropriate Bible lesson. During Sparkle Time, clubbers recite Bible verses from memory, complete handbook sections, and earn awards. Sparky, the friendly firefly appears throughout the Bible-based materials to encourage clubbers to complete their handbook achievements.

T&T stands for Truth & Training

Why

We want our Awana clubbers to know the truth of God's Word, and we want to train them to serve Him in their everyday lives.

We know that many of today's Awana leaders were yesterday's clubbers. Our goal is that many of today's clubbers will become tomorrow's leaders.

Material

The very first night clubbers attend T&T, they receive the Start Zone, the starting point for all T&T clubbers. Start Zone is a small booklet that explains what it means to trust Christ as Savior.

Once a clubber completes the Start Zone, he or she will be eligible to purchase a handbook and uniform.

The T&T program has four handbooks called The Ultimate Adventure Series. Clubbers are taught that the 'ultimate adventure' is the Christian's relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. There are 56 sections in each of the handbooks. The amount of memorization increases as the clubber works through the books.

Once they complete the Start Zone, clubbers receive an award badge with places to mark the completion of each handbook segment.

In addition to the regular sections, there are extra-credit sections (with special awards) throughout the handbooks.

After completing each book, clubbers receive a book completion patch to wear on their uniforms.

Throughout the handbooks, the clubbers will read about a group of kids who are always ready for adventure!

Arthur enjoys science and checking out stuff on his dad's computer. He's also the kid with the 3131/2; freckles.

Meet Leah. Her claim to fame is saying the alphabet backwards in three seconds flat.

Erik is the little kid with the BIG words. He's not obnoxious about it, but sometimes his brilliance DOES make the other kids roll their eyes.

Then there's Carlos. His priorities are skateboarding and teasing the girls.

Christy is totally into soccer. You can't find a soccer term she doesn't know.

And of course we can't forget Streamwood.

This bunch does fun things like:

  •  study outer space.
  •  spend a summer at the beach.
  •  act in a video set in Israel.
  •  go on a great outdoors vacation.
